Spending three weeks with the family in Wellington for xmas prior to flying out. Here's a few shots depicting what I got up to before leaving...
OK so Awaroa Lodge was a bit of a let down, but a great time was had by all thanks to the excellent crowd we had with us. My advise would be to pay about the same amount and go to Fiji, or Thailand (once rebuilt!). Still, Awaroa Lodge did have a very beautiful location, maybe a week was too long there (and was not helped by crap weather).
Other pictures on this page show my family home in 'da Hutt', our beach house in Waikanae, and general relaxing, BBQ's etc. A good, long and relaxing break before setting off travelling.
